Christmas came early with all of these cards!
Freelance - Manley Holiday Report 2017
There’s nothing like being asked to created someone’s holiday letter two years in a row because they loved your work prior.
Fletcher's Boathouse Boundaries Sign
Went on a site visit today to one of our boathouse units and thought it was really cool to see one of my signs out “in the wild” and not just on my computer screen.
Table Cover
I can’t take credit for designing the actual logo used for this table cloth, but I did convert the logo to a grayscale .EPS file that was printer-ready.
I spent a lot of time talking to different printing vendors about pricing and different cloth materials, so it’s always cool to see a finished project.
Oktoberfest Promotion
On this episode of #graciemakesthings, here are a few posters and menus I designed for an Oktoberfest promotion at one of our government agencies.
Cookie for Your Thoughts Promotion
We ran a cookie promotion at a few of our government agency’s cafeterias encouraging customers to take a survey and receive a free cookie. I created signage for the event and buttons shaped like cookies for cashiers to wear at checkout.
Nation's Triathlon Special Event Menus
One of the cool benefits of working for my company is getting to make menus for special events in DC.
Boating In DC - A-Frame Design
Spotted one of my A-Frame designs on Instagram today.
Total (Solar) Eclipse of the Heart
Here is a cool flyer I did for the Total Solar Eclipse coming up. We are currently working towards branding some of our units with a “lodging or woodsy“ style so we are incorporating lots of browns and old paper textures.
The overall design was inspired by the “Virginia is for Lovers“ campaign.
The Rotlewicz Wedding Stationery
Loved creating the branding for this couple’s magical day. More photos to come soon.
Binary Arms
Approached by a start up company to improve a logo concept and expand its branding by creating business cards and a letterhead design.
Etsy Review - "Sew in Love"
I’m so proud of how this invitation turned out!
Thank you for your kind words and a photo, Tara!
Simple Hexagon Construction
I am continuing to work on exploring the creation of shapes within shapes and using gradients to make logos more dynamic.
I Lava You Logo 💕
Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so here's a little redesign of my "Lava" doodle.
Etsy Review: Under the Sea Party Invite + Party Decor
If given the option to do “work” or draw mermaids, mermaids will always win. Thank you, Kayla for giving me this wonderful opportunity to draw my favorite “Little Mermaid“ and her friends!
Hilton Head Vacation!
It’s finally happening! I’m going to Disney’s Hilton Head for the week to celebrate my birthday! I couldn’t contain my excitement so I turned that energy into a personal creative prompt.
I have been playing around with the idea of utilizing more shapes and gradients into my logos and would like to start a logo series of places I’ve been using this style.
Sleeping Beauty Logo
Happy (one day late) 58th Birthday to my all time favorite Disney Classic! 💖 I was too busy yesterday to finish this, but now that it's done, I figured I would post it anyways!
Freelance - TechGirl Branding
Tech Girl is a very exciting start-up company that will create a mentorship network between young girls and women interested in the technology field. Although my client is still in the process of building her company, I'm thrilled to share my branding process.
The Branding Process
The branding process is hands down one my absolute favorite thing to do! I find the whole process so invigorating because even when I create something that my client doesn't like, I like to think of what Thomas Edison once said, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
Over the course of a few months, I created multiple hot air balloon logo ideas that were then narrowed down to a balloon that uses the white space to represent a network.
Below are a few images that show the evolution of the final logo design.

"...and it starts with the sun"☀️💜
Just a little morning warm-up focusing on stylization and shapes using the Sun from Tangled. Plus I loved recreating the pattern that was on Rapunzel’s dress and recycling it as my border. I’m obsessed with those gradients.
A Lovely Night - Art Deco Logo
I could have worked on so many projects tonight, but instead I drew this little doodle and watched La La Land for the third time because I'm OBSESSED!
