One Drape Branding, Website, & Sell Sheet
Had the opportunity to build a brand to increase sales and awareness to surgical sales representatives, as well as to educate the medical community about the benefits of using One Drape. Working with the visionary behind One Drape, Dr. Said Osman, I developed an informational website along with promotional materials for medical conferences around the world.
Product Background:
One Drape is a prototype surgical drape that will allow surgeons to drape a patient faster while reducing financial and packaging waste through improving traditional draping methods by increasing visibility within sterile field.

My dream job is to be a designer for The Walt Disney Company, so obviously I have created a lot of Disney themed art over the years.
Before my personal Instagram account was private, there was a time when I was actively posting my Disney inspired art, generating a following of people that were interested my work.
This led to a lot of commissioned opportunities and I created this piece for a Cast Member at Walt Disney World named Sami, who worked at Kilimanjaro Safaris. I think this piece turned out absolutely adorable.

Illustrations for AniKa and Jason

For Easter, I wanted to give my roommates custom illustrations based on their favorite things. The project was a little rushed but I absolutely love how they turned out.
This first illustration was for my roommate, AniKa and it truly encompassed all of her favorite things: a mermaid lagoon, the flower from Tangled, and Peeta Mellark from The Hunger Games. My only regret for this piece is that I spent so much time on the background elements and shading, that my laziness clearly shows because I gave the mermaid and Peeta “mitten hands” due to the tight deadline. If I ever revisit this project, it is something I plan to clean up in the future.
The second illustration was for my roommate, Jason who is a Pirate Master at the Pirates League in Walt Disney World. The pirate outfit illustrated here is based on his costume from work. I combined the iconic jail scene from Pirates of the Caribbean with characters from his favorite movie, Peter Pan.

Oral-B Floss: Laundromat Campaign (2012)

Created a concept for Oral-B Floss to team up with laundromats across the country by placing a variety of small messages in between the crevices of washing machines. The messages will be used as a reminder that flossing is a critical part of hygienic dental care, while also promoting Oral-B's brand of floss.

These are a few of my favorite projects from my time at Virginia Commonwealth University that will never make it into my portfolio. As much as I liked working on these projects, I know I have stronger material.
During my time at VCU, I was a Mass Communications major with a concentration in Creative Advertising and a minor in Business. Unlike most art degrees, we really focused on strategy and concepts for building campaigns that told a story.
Romeo and Juliet Poster Design
It’s really funny looking back on an old art project and seeing how much your style has improved! I remember really struggling with coming up with an original concept for this project and then the night before it was due I did a mind map as a brainstorming tool and realized I could portray fore-shadow-ing with the two houses and everything just fell into place.
I’d like to revisit this project one day because I know it could use a facelift. When a design can age timelessly, that’s a good indicator that you have a strong design, but that didn’t happen here.
I really like the script font I used for the logo, but definitely would want to change the fonts at the bottom and work on my proportions to build a stronger visual hierarchy.
VA Cribs: A Virginia Tourism Campaign
December 2011
I am not a native Virginian but I loved working on coming up with a Virginia tourism campaign concept.
Imagine if our Founding Fathers were still alive and offering MTV-styled tours of their cribs! This campaign would feature George Washington’s Mount Vernon, Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, and James Madison’s Montpelier targeting online users planning to visit Virginia in a series of video web ads. Printed swag would be sold at all gift shops of our Founding Father’s homes including tchotchke items, postcards, and stamps of the mockups shown above.
If given the opportunity to do this over, I would have liked to invest more time in making the mockups look realistic and blend the realms of modern day photography with the 1770’s portrait-styled paintings.
Tiger Illustration
Illustrator is my jam! I love using the pen tool and gradients to create art, but just like any other artist, I can always point out my mistakes and say there is room for improvement. That’s how I feel about this illustration.
